Happy Easter everyone or should I say Merry Christmas. What happened? We didn't have snow for Christmas and the kids were putting out food for the reindeer on the grass and at Easter we are trying to get the dog to go out the door. He was lost in the snow once he stepped off the step. The van is buried and the kids want to go out but the wind is sooo strong that the would blow away. Today was supposed to be a big family day. All the family was due to have a big Easter dinner but we have postponed until tomorrow or later. My husband went to work this am and I was a little nervous and a lot worried that he wouldn't make it to work. He did. It was a long drive and thank goodness for 4wd trucks. The plows haven't been through but the wind has done a great job of Snow removal in the driveway. This is the most snow that we have had all winter. The kids can't wait for the wind to die down so the can go outside and build forts in the drifts. Easter morning started early. Try 5 am the kids were up and ready to go so it will be an early night as well. The Easter Bunny was good to everyone this year and the kids say thanks to the big bunny. The big Bunny brought the ever favorite bubbles this year so the kitchen floor is getting a good soaping today. They were happy with their bunny treats even though the hunt didn't last long enough. Well, that is it for the holiday season. I hope everyone is warm and cozy. Junebug
